Magnesium Supplements/Nutrient Depletion:
- BoronBoron: Based on human evidence, magnesium may interfere with the normal physiological effects of boron in the body (3678698).
- PhosphatesPhosphates: Based on human evidence, concomitant use of oral preparations in conjunction with magnesium compounds, such as antacids containing magnesium, may bind phosphate in the stomach and reduce its absorption (646554, 11854710, 11323597, 116830). Secondary sources advise separating the administration of sodium phosphate salts from magnesium-containing products by at least one hour.
